Meet Ine, our Inside Rail Advisor

My name is Ine Berends, and I am 55 years old. I live with my husband and our two children (aged 23 and 19) in beautiful Ooy, in the municipality of Zevenaar, within cycling distance of the Rail Bridge Cargo office. This means that my commute to work is wonderfully CO₂-neutral.

I have a long background in the transport sector, where customer contact has always played an important role. I have been working at Rail Bridge Cargo since December 1, 2025. Rail transport appeals to me enormously and I look forward to further deepening my knowledge in this field. My goal is to take as much work off our customers' hands as possible and, as their permanent contact person, to keep them proactively informed, from quotation request to delivery.

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, exploring the mountains, and spending time in our garden.
